Notes: Canon-wise, we’ve had no indication of where Sam’s family lives since S3, so I put them where I wanted them! Title from the song “Moonlight in Vermont.”
Summary: Kurt is intent on skipping Christmas 2013 when he runs into Sam, who changes his mind. They travel home to Ohio together last-minute, but Christmas in Lima doesn’t come together easily.

Kurt and Sam will never be as close as Blam, but even with a slightly awkward beginning, they’ve always been at ease with one another. I hope that continues if/when they end up in New York together full time.

They’ve always had a really genuine, caring connection going both ways.  Sam was nice to Kurt from the start, and Kurt looked after Sam and protected his secret in season two even when it was causing people to give him trouble.  It makes me like them both to be so different and yet so kind to each other, and in a way it makes me like Blam in a different way than usual for how both Kurt and Sam can really see and appreciate Blaine as himself, too.

i’m sO MAD because now i just want porn about sam evans swinging through the jungle and throwing kurt hummel the buttoned up victorian over his shoulder and mating with him in the trees AND THIS FANDOM WILL NEVER GIVE ME THAT
