Im so annoyed these scenes didn’t make the cut, instead Steve’s adjustment two weeks into the 21st century was played as a joke.

Of course not. They couldn’t leave in the scenes that showed how completely overwhelmed and shell-shocked Steve was by the 21st century in The Avengers, could they? There were jokes to be made!
